Dora Messer, age 77 of Caryville passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Dora was an amateur Ham Radio operator.  She loved gospel singing, going to church, and singing in the choir.  She also loved her dog, Sparky, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents Hugh L. and Cordilia (McGhee) Marlow; grandson Brian Pascal Campbell; brothers Arnold Marlow, Orville Marlow, and Freeman Marlow; sisters Ollie Marlow, Stella Marlow Hensley, and Beulah Marlow Cole.

She is survived by husband Hubert Messer of Caryville; children L.C. Campbell of LaFollette, Stephen Wayne Campbell & wife Carolyn of LaFollette, Johnny Ray Campbell of LaFollette, Doris Jean Jackson & husband Commie of Columbia, Lloyd Ervin Campbell of Jacksboro; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, January 12, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. Gary Parker officiating.  Friends and family will meet 11:45 AM Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for the 12:30 PM interment in Marlow cemetery.
