Goldie Irene (Young) Bolton

Goldie Irene Bolton, age 70 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at LaFollette Medical Center.  She was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Calvary Worship Center.  Irene was a very loving Mother and Nana.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and crocheting with her special friend, Linda Stooksbury.

She is preceded in death by husband Charles Edward “Sonny” Bolton; parents Albert and Pearl (Sweeney) Young; brothers Robert, Lonas, Lonnie, and Ray Young; sisters 2 infants, Myrtle Ford, Gladys Woods, Lizzie Chambers, and Wanda Carroll.

She is survived by daughter Michele Shoffner & fiancé Chris West, Lori Mendez & husband Tomas, both of LaFollette; honorary daughter Donna Tibbs & husband Bo of LaFollette; son Eddie and wife Ashley Robbins of Knoxville, sister Sue Poteet & husband Tommy of LaFollette; grandchildren Brent LaMaster & wife Becca, Noah LaMaster, Isaiah LaMaster, Hannah, Elijah, and Zachary Shoffner.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, February 2, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 8 PM with Dr. Carolina Curtis, Rev. Jonathan Gibson, and Dr. Norma Welch officiating.  Friends and family will meet 10:15 AM Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for the 11 AM interment in Campbell Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Randy Spradlin, Bo Tibbs, Noah LaMaster, Brent LaMaster, Isaiah LaMaster, Chris West, and honorary pallbearers are Elijah and Zachary Shoffner.
