Joan Hatmaker, age 63 of Knoxville, formerly of LaFollette passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017.  She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Knoxville. Joan enjoyed going to the beach and U.T. football games.  She also loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by father Earl Hutson.

She is survived by husband of 42 years Kenneth Hatmaker of LaFollette; mother Ruth Hutson of LaFollette; daughters Heather Vandergriff & husband Wesley, and Ashley Hatmaker, both of Knoxville; sister Sheila Saunders & husband David of LaFollette; grandchildren Gabrielle, MaKayla, & Ezekias Vandergriff; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relative.

Visitation for Joan will be 6-7 PM Friday, September 8, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. Tim Tatum officiating.  Joan’s wishes was to be cremated following services.
