Michael Robert Kitts, age 70 of Jacksboro passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017.  He attended West LaFollette Baptist Church.  Michael enjoyed watching boxing and spending time with his family.  He was a hard-working simple man that loved cutting up, joking with people, and buying silly hats he would wear.

He is preceded in death by parents Michael Woodrow and Chrysteen Elizabeth (Lyons) Kitts.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ruby Marie (Hatfield) Kitts of Jacksboro; son Michael Joey Kitts of LaFollette; daughter Dana ReShae Kitts of LaFollette; brothers Jerry Siler Kitts of LaFollette; sisters Rosalind (Kitts) Sharp and husband David E. of Knoxville, Judith Ann (Kitts) Dobson and husband Joe Carl of Corbin, KY., and Theresa Marie (Kitts) Batrus and husband William of California; grandchildren Isaac Ward, Jacob Ward, Michael Neal Kitts, Kari Ann Kitts, and Waylon Joey Kitts; great grandchildren Carson & Raelyn; several nieces, nephews, & relatives.

Visitation for Mr. Kitts will be 12-2 PM, Sunday, September 3, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home; funeral service following at 2 PM with Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating.  Interment will be at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
