Rev. Ovid D Bolton

Rev. Ovid D. Bolton, age 78 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 21, 2018, he was a loving husband of 57 years, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, Ovid loved going to church and was a member of Ford Town Baptist church, he  enjoyed farming and never met a stranger. Ovid was a U.S. Army Veteran. 

Preceded in death by parents Morris and Marie McCulley Bolton, brothers Joe and Teddy Bolton, sister Lois Jean Goins.

Survived by wife Janice Sue Bolton of LaFollette, son Ovid Wayne Bolton of LaFollette, daughter Susie Dupuy and husband Tim of LaFollette, brother Eddie Steve Bolton of LaFollette, grandchildren Amanda and Sampson Ridenour, Laura and Matthew Russell and Joshua Wayne Bolton, great grandchildren, Benjamin, Isaac and Timmy Russell and Maze Ridenour.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm on Monday April 23, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, funeral service will follow at 8:00 with Rev. Sampson Ridenour, Rev. Matthew Russell and Rev. Tim Dupuy officiating.   Family and friends will meet at 10:00 am on Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home and go in procession to Well Springs cemetery for a 11:00 am interment with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
