Ronald Lee Blankenship, age 65, of Jacksboro passed away Monday January 9, 2017 at his house surrounded by family. Ron was a loving husband, father, and papa.  He was of the Baptist Faith. Ron loved NASCAR, football and riding buggies in the mountains. He was a lifelong mechanic and fulfilled his dreams of owning his own business, Ron’s Automotive.

Preceded in death by parents, Benjamin and Alice Baird Blankenship, son, Ronald Lee Blankenship Jr, sisters, Irene Dodson and Lorene Hicks, brothers, Arnold Blankenship and Lloyd Blankenship.

Survived by wife. Cheryl Blankenship of 25 years, children, Ronda Blankenship of      Toledo, Ohio, Deana Stiles and husband Bryan of Toledo, Ohio, Angie Boshears of Jacksboro and Susan Roberto of Groveland, Florida, Jeffery Pace of LaFollette, brothers, Bill Blankenship and wife, Bobbie of Loveland, Ohio, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Receiving of family and friends will be on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home and on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614.  Funeral will follow at 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow the funeral service at Ottowa Hills Memorial Park in Toledo, OH.
