Sharlene Jones, age 84 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 1, 2017.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother that enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by husband Elmer Jones; sons Ray, Bobby, & Paul Jones; parents Ed & Clara Brooks; brother Jim Brooks; sister Bell Prim.

She is survived by sons Tommy Jones & wife Elizabeth of LaFollette, and Virgil Jones of LaFollette; daughter Margie Reed of Speedwell; brothers Richard Brooks & wife Linda of LaFollette, and Ernie Brooks and wife, Janice  of Ohio; sister Joyce Ann Pierce & husband Randall of LaFollette; she also leaves behind grandchildren, great grandchildren & a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 1 – 2 PM Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Ivey Dell Holiness Church; funeral service at 2 PM with Rev. Tommy Swafford & Rev. Pat Ayers officiating.  Interment will follow service in Peabody cemetery.
