Shirley Hatmaker, age 78 of Duff went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 23, 2017.  She was a member of the Sled Creek Holiness Church.  Shirley was a loving wife of 56 years, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and sister-in-law that loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed quilting and working in her flower garden. 

She is preceded in death by parents Issac and Gertrude (Wilson) Walden; brothers Lonnie, Benny, William, Ralph Thomas, and Ullys Walden; sisters Norma Jean Moore, Alta Lingerfelt, Nina Young, Linda Demeza, Willa Helton, and Edna Bailey; grandchildren Jennifer Lemarr, and Felicia Hatmaker.

She is survived by husband Jessie Lee Hatmaker of Duff; sons Jessie Lynn Hatmaker and wife Penny of Duff, Gary Hatmaker and wife Peggy of Eagen, Timothy Hatmaker and wife Samantha of Duff, Gregory Hatmaker and wife Beronica of Duff; daughters Sandra Powers and husband David, Betty Ledford and husband Danny, Rhonda Lemarr and husband William, Brenda Hatmaker, Evelyn Hinkle and husband Jerry, Julie Powers and husband Bobby, Mary Lambdin and husband Daniel, all of Duff; sister Alma Bratcher and husband Dennis of LaFollette; 50 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Visitation for Shirley will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home; funeral service at 8 PM with Pastor Billy Joe Lowe officiating.  Friends and family will meet 10 AM Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for the 11 Am interment in Hatmaker Cemetery.
