Shirley Faye Scott, age 64 of Jacksboro departed this life on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.  She attended New Life Ministry Center.  Shirley was a very loving wife of 43 years.  Her passion was her family and her career.  She was a very giving, selfless, and caring person that always put the needs of others before her own.

She is preceded in death by father, Hoyt Russell; brother Everett Russell.

She is survived by husband Charles Scott of Jacksboro; daughters Amy Scott Burton and husband Jason of Grovetown, Georgia, & Jennifer Lambert and husband E.J. of Cleveland, TN; mother Hazel Russell; brothers David Russell and wife Jami of Arab, Alabama, & Mark Russell and wife Selena of Jacksboro; sister Renee Angel and husband Patrick of LaFollette; grandchildren Jacob Lambert and Samara Scott.

Visitation for Shirley will be 5-8 PM Friday, August 18, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 8 PM with Rev. Jason Burton officiating.  Friends and family will meet 10 AM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for the 11 AM interment in Powell Valley Cemetery.
