Artie Jane (Singleton) Walker

Artie Jane Walker, age 63 of LaFollette departed this life Thursday, June 13, 2019 after an extended battle with cancer.  She was a loving wife of 37 years.  She loved teaching children, which she did for 34 years with Campbell County School System at West LaFollette and Jacksboro.  She also enjoyed traveling to England and Hawaii and loved spending time with her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by parents Jasper and Dorothy (Campbell) Singleton.

She is survived by husband Roger Dale Walker; cousins Bill and Nan Elmore, Nate and Sandra Valukas and their children Jeremey, Evan, and Melanie, Michael and Mandy Elmore, Chad and Krista Elmore and their children Blair and Hensley.

Visitation will be 11 AM – 1 PM Monday, June 17, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 1 PM with Rev. Perry Duncan officiating.  Friends and family will go in procession for interment to Woodlawn Cemetery following funeral service.
