Brian Christopher Schmidlin, age 65 of Caryville passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017.  He was of the Catholic faith.  Brain enjoyed fixing video games, playing pool, working Sudoku puzzles, working with electronics, and reading. 

He is preceded in death by parents Emile Leon Jr. & Joyce (Osborne) Schmidlin; brother David William Schmidlin; aunts Carolyn L. Osborne, and Gladys & Joseph Hillenbrand.

He is survived by wife Regina Lowe Schmidlin of Caryville; daughter Lisa Leigh Schmidlin of Caryville; niece Tara Ward & family of Powell, nephew Joshua Schmidlin & family of Jacksboro; special niece Tiffany Lowe of Caryville; cousins Stephen Hillenbrand & family of Knoxville, Jim Hillenbrand & family of Alabama, and Rhonda Gail Lane.

A special thank you to Avalon Hospice through Brian’s last days.

There will be a graveside service in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens in Elizabethton, Tennessee at a later time.
