Cora Loomis, age 69 of LaFollette passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Cora loved painting, remolding her home, sewing, and spending time with her grandbabies.

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Minnie (McBee) Grodeman; sister Wilma Faye Nelson.

She is survived by husband George Loomis of LaFollette; son Richard Grodeman and wife Sarah of Jacksboro; daughter Jennifer Norman of LaFollette; brother Roger Grodeman of LaFollette; sisters Jewel Hatfield of Ohio, and Helen Painter and husband Alfred of Florida; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. 

Visitation for Cora will be 1:30 PM – 3 PM Saturday, March 25, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home; funeral service to follow at 3 PM with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating.  Friends and family will proceed to Bakers Forge cemetery after service for the interment.
