Effie Lee Goins

Effie Lee Goins, age 94 of LaFollette departed this life Monday, September 24, 2018.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  Effie enjoyed attending church, listening to gospel music, and preaching. 

She is preceded in death by husband Hubert Goins; parents Charlie and Lula (Hubbard) Ivey; brothers Joe, Troy, Luther, Jay, and George Ivey; sisters Mande Miller, Ann Ivey, and Ethel Ivey.

She is survived by daughter Bessie Lee & husband George of LaFollette; grandchildren Shelia and Mark Greer of Houston, Texas; great grandchild Jim Greer; 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Effie will be 1 – 2 PM Thursday, September 27, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home.  Following visitation friends and family will go in procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for graveside service with Rev. Sonny Longmire officiating.
