Minnie Lee Wells, age 91 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 19, 2017.  She was a member of the West Walden Church of God.  Minnie was a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family.  She loved attending church, quilting, working in her garden, fishing, and camping.

She is preceded in death by husband Hershel Wells & former husband James Slover; parents Riley & Elizabeth Ann (Mason) Henderson; brothers John and Jefferson      Henderson; sisters Vernie Henderson, Verdie Webb, and Carrie Webb.

She is survived by daughters Sylvia Gray of LaFollette, June (Jerry) Inman of LaFollette; stepson Ricky Wells of California; grandchildren Jamie and Brenda Inman, Gary and Ramona Inman, Misty and Larry Gibson, Tammy and Wayne Walden, Debbie and Junior Wilson; 12 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will 6-8 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home; funeral service at 8 PM with Rev. Mike Smith officiating.  Friends and family will meet 12 PM Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for the 1 PM interment at Clear Branch Cemetery in Lake City.
