Ada Marie Meredith

Ada Marie Meredith, age 86 of Caryville, formerly of Stinking Creek, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 17, 2023. Ada was born on September 14, 1936 to the late Pryor and Verna (Sharp) Meredith. Ada was instrumental in teaching her nieces and nephews to play the organ, piano, guitar, and singing harmony. She was also the pianist at the New Liberty Baptist Church in Stinking Creek. Ada was a care giver to her Mom/Grannie Meredith until Granny's passing, then became a care giver to many others.

In addition to her parent's, she is preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-law's Oliver (Lena), Charles (Juanita), and Buford; six (6) infant siblings; two (2) half-brothers and five (5) half-sisters.

Ada is survived by many nieces, nephews, six generations of nieces, nephews, many cousins; she is also survived by her special care givers Mary Ruth and Joyce who tirelessly took care of Ada over the past few years.

A memorial service will be from 10:00AM-11:00 AM on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home with a celebration of life service to follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Larry Mullins officiating. A private graveside service will take place at Meredith Cemetery in Stinking Creek at a later time.

The family has entrusted the care of Ada Marie Meredith to Martin Wilson Funeral Home "Where Families Matter Most."
