Ada Mae Woods

Ada Mae Woods, age 84 of Lafollette passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011 at her home. She was a member of Ivy Dell Church of God. Ada loved baking, gardening and raising flowers. Her family was her life.

Preceded in death by Husband: James Henry Woods. Daughters: Toni Gail Rucker and Florence Jean Rucker. Parents: Birt and Ethel Florence Bailey Longmire. Sisters: Pauline Longmire, Gladys Morris, Naomi Byrge and Alice Fay Longmire. Brothers: L.C. and Earl Longmire.

Survived by Son: Robbie Woods of Lafollette. Daughters: Judy Madison and Sherry and James Parton all of Lafollette. Brother and Sister in Law: Dewie and Mary Louise Longmire of Orange, TX. Sister and Brother in Law: Rosalee and Charles Huff of Kingsport, TN. 5 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Junior Dilbeck and Rev. Earl Powers officiating. Interment will be 1 PM Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday night before funeral service.
