Albert Kontrat Bistrenko

Albert K. Bistrenko, age 79, of LaFollette, formerly of Michigan went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2012 after battling cancer. He was a US Army and Korean War Veteran. Retired after 31 years from Ford Motor Company.

Preceded in death by wife, Margaret Edna Bistrenko. Parents: Kontrat and Elizabeth Bistrenko. Brother, Bob Ranta.

Survivors: Children, Brenda Foster and husband Michael of Knoxville, Julia Bogart and husband, George of Howell, Mich.and Mark Bistrenko. 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday June 5, 2012 at New Life Ministries 181 Indian Mound Circle, Jacksboro, TN with Pastor Alan Shepherd officiating. Fellowship will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall with refreshments.
