Albert Andrew Steakley, age 90 of Lafollette passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. Albert was a member of High Street Baptist Church. He loved fishing and watching the Atlanta Braves. He loved his family and liked to work.

Preceded in death by Wife: Eula Irene Steakley. Parents: James and Lela Webb Steakley. Brother: Jack Steakley.

Survived by Sons: John Steakley of Clinton, James Steakley of Jacksboro and Billy Branam of Jellico. Daughters: Edith Ray, Bonnie Miller, Hazel Martin, Lois Carroll and Anna Williamson all of Lafollette. 25 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Sunday, March 21, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Hansford Bolton and Rev. Junior Dilbeck officiating. Interment will follow in Bakers Forge Cemetery with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of services. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday night before funeral service.
