Alberta Rigney
July 11, 1932 — October 5, 2015
Alberta Rigney, age 83, of Speedwell departed this life on Monday, October 5, 2015. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved gardening and spending time at the lake fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Garfield & Gustova (Shackelford) Short and husband JP Rigney.
She is survived by her sons Ronnie Rigney & wife Debbie and Donnie Rigney all of Kentucky; sisters Pauline King and Ruth Neal & husband Jack all of Speedwell; grandchildren Brandy, Jackie, Koty, Ronnie & Kaitlyn and great-grandchildren Emily, Daniel, Maycee, Madalynn, Myla & Wyatt.
Family will receive friends from 11:00 - 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 8, 2015 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ovid Bolton officiating. Interment will follow in Braden Chapel Cemetery in Speedwell, TN.
