Aleene Elizabeth (Spencer) Creech

Aleene Elizabeth Creech, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday October 6, 2022. She attended Mount Paran Baptist Church. Aleene was a loving wife of 62 years, mother, grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Parker.

Aleene is preceded in death by her parents Kelman and Eliza Gilbert Spencer; brothers, A.C. Spencer and Coy Spencer; sisters, Alma Smith, Bonnie Garrett, Faye Caudill, and Thelma Combs.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Creech of Jacksboro, daughter, Glyna Stanfield and husband Scott of Jacksboro, grandson, Parker Stanfield of Jacksboro; sisters, Paula Campbell of Kentucky, Dotty Spicer and husband Ralph of Ohio, Monella Keene and husband Roscoe of Ohio; brothers-in-law, Verlin Caudill and Donnie Combs; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 5 PM to 7 PM with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. David Hicks and Rev. Ron Williams officiating. Friends and family will meet on Sunday October 9, 2022 at 10:15 AM to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for a 11 AM interment.
