Alline Farris

Alline Farris, age 81, of LaFollette passed away on Tuesday, July 30th, 2013. She was a member of Coolidge Baptist Church. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family and worked very hard to raise her 5 children.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Sherman & Amanda (Carroll) Chapman; husband Riley Hoover Farris Sr.; brothers James, Oscar, Albert, Johnny, & Condy Chapman; and sister Josie Miller.

She is survived by her sons Donald Ray Farris of Michigan, Riley Farris Jr. of LaFollette, and David Wayne Farris of Indiana; daughters Joyce Ann Wallace & husband Jerry of Cleveland and Doris Faye Peniff of Ohio; brothers Phillip Chapman of Massachusetts and Albert Chapman of Ohio; sisters Betsy Heatherly of LaFollette, Minnie Gibson of Ohio, and Sara E. Towell of Ohio; 12 grandchildren & 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2nd, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Evangelist Riley Farris Jr. officiating. Interment will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 at 10:00 am at Bakers Forge Cemetery.
