Anna Elizbeth Kelly Redus was born in Asheville, North Carolina on November 22, 1966. She went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior on December 25, 2016.
Anna had dealt with the disease Muscular Dystrophy (MD) since she was nine years old. She was a witness to many in how to be a good worker, cheerful, kind, loving, and sharing no matter what hand has been dealt to you in life.
She attended school in Black Mountain, North Carolina and graduated from Amarillo High School and Amarillo College in Amarillo, Texas. In Davenport, Iowa, she did office work and especially enjoyed their public transportation system. She lived in Jacksboro and LaFollette and worked for Goodwill Industries for a short time. She was a member of First Baptist Church of LaFollette. A special time in her life was knitting hats for the Shoe Box Ministry. She knitted in spite of being very weak and her hands hurting because MD.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Darlene Kelly, her brothers; Jerome Lee and Harold Wayne Kelly.
Family and friends are invited to join her parents, Dr. Cleve and Dana Redus in a celebration of Anna's Life on Thursday, December 29th, 2016 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Her visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and service will be at 7:00 PM. Graveside Service and interment will be at 11:00 AM Friday, December 30th, 2016 at Mountain View Memorial Park, located at 413 Cragmont Road, Black Mountain, North Carolina 28711.
The family ask in lieu of flowers, memorial's in Anna's memory be made to Gideon's Memorial Bible Fund, P.O. Box 1, LaFollette, Tennessee 37766.
