Arline Mcghee

Arline Welch McGhee, age 80 of Jacksboro, went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017.  Arline was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Don McGhee, grandson Steven Thornton and parents Arlie and Lorene Yoakum Welch.  Arline is survived by daughters Donna Thornton (Larry), Brenda McGhee and Kay Rippy (Terry), granddaughters Christy Thornton and Meredith Rippy and great grandson Zeke Price, brothers and sisters Alice Crutchfield (Jerry), Doyle Welch (Linda), JoAnn Cunningham (Jim) and Tobby Welch (Paula) along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Arline was a loving, kind and protective Mother and Grandmother. She adored being with her grandchildren, great grandson, family and friends.  She loved to have lots of company to drop in to see her. She enjoyed her computer, being outside and watching the birds, and admiring her flowers. Arline had a beautiful smile and loved to laugh.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 9th, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Martin-Wilson Funeral Home in LaFollette. Service to follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson officiating. Grave side services will be Friday, February 10th at 11:00 am at Bakers Forge Cemetery in LaFollette.
