Avery Shoopman

Avery Shoopman, age 68 of Jacksboro passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. Avery was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. He loved the local 818 union and loved his family very much.

Preceded in death by Wife: Phala Shoopman. Parents: Howard and Maggie Shoopman. Brother: Ether Shoopman.

Survived by Daughter and Son in Law: Pattie and Rick Ellison of Lafollette. Grandson: Shayne Ellison. Brothers: L.C. Shoopman of Scott County and Floyd Shoopman of Ohio. Sister: Elsie Shoopman of Scott County.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Saturday, September 26, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Bro. Shayne Ellison, Rev. Alvis Richardson and Rev. David Goins officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Sunday in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday night before funeral service.
