Barbara Alice (Edwards) Brock

Barbara Alice Brock, age 83 of LaFollette, departed this life on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at her residence. She was born November 25, 1940 in Virginia to the late Tivis and Barbara Colley Edwards. Barbara was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and loved her church family. She enjoyed gardening and her dogs. Barbara was a warm person to everyone and always had a smile on her face.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jack Brock and ex-husband Ted Kennedy; her brothers Tommy, Leonard, Ayers, and Burns Edwards; her sisters Shirley Edwards, Lillian Baker, and Geneva Wyley.

Barbara is survived by her sons Kevin and Jeffrey Kennedy; her daughters Donna Holder and Debbie Bonilla; her brother Edgar Edwards; her sisters Joann Counts and Lena Edwards; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with her funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Donavon Welden and Rev. Lonnie Welden officiating. The burial will follow at Powell Valley Cemetery.
