Barbara Lynn Dykes

Barbara Lynn Dykes, age 61, passed away on Friday July 15, 2022. Barbara was of the Baptist faith and was a loving wife of 37 years who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, her animals, crocheting, fishing, working puzzles, and playing her games.

Barbara is preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Evans Ridenour.

She is survived by her husband, Jackie Dykes of Speedwell; sons, Steven Dykes and wife Emily of Madison, KY, Allan McManaway of Knoxville, Brandon Dykes of Knoxville; daughters, Katrina Bishop and husband Jeff Beetly of Knoxville and Tristanie Irvin and husband Stephen of Harrogate; brothers Brian Ridenour and Barry Ridenour of Speedwell; sister Brenda Ausmus of Tazewell; 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on August 6, 2022 at the Cawood United Methodist Church in Speedwell from 6 PM to 8 PM. Memorial Service will follow at 8 PM with Rev. Jeremiah Bean officiating.

The family has entrusted the care of Barbara Lynn Dykes to Martin Wilson Funeral Home "Where families matter most."
