Bennie Angel

Bennie Angel, age 89, of Speedwell passed away on Saturday, January 25th, 2014. He was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church and was a WWII Veteran in the Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruth Foust Angel; sons William H. Taylor and Bennie Ray Angel; grandson Benjamin Joseph LeMarr; and mother Sarah Angel.

He is survived by his daughter Pamela Ruth Angel LeMarr & husband Bill; daughter-in-law Carol Lester; grandchildren Billie Hall & husband Carson of Speedwell, Tammy Walters & husband Jeff, and Timothey Johnson & wife Kelly all of Knoxville; 8 great-grandchildren; several special nieces & nephews, and a host of other relative and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28th, 2014 in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will follow the visitation with Rev. Charles Goins and Rev. James Dunn officiating. Interment will follow the service at Flat Hollow Cemetery.
