Bernice Marjorie Austin

Bernice Marjorie Austin age 63 of LaFollette passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 at the St. Mary's North in Knoxville. She was a member of LaFollette Tabernacle of Praise.

Preceded in death by Parents: John and Marie Owens Austin. Sisters: Tom Hargraves, Clara Mae Messer, and Angelina Austin.

Survived by Sons: Danny Tidwell of Virginia Beach, VA. Johnny Tidwell of Caryville. Daughter: Melissa Dykes of LaFollette. 8 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Brothers: William Austin of Duff, TN. Ed Austin of Arizona. Sisters: Dean Fields of MI. Hettie Grennel of Lake City, Lucille Perry of LaFollette, Muriel Womble of Habersham, Janet Marlow of Morley, TN. Wilma Austin of Arkansas, Christine Messer of Corbin, KY.  Several other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Tuesday in Martin Wilson Chapel with Preacher Richard Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be 10 AM Wednesday in Owens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday night before funeral service.
