Bernice A Shoupe

Bernice Alene Shoupe, age 69, from Lafollette, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Bernice was of the Church of God faith. She was a very loving mother that enjoyed spending time with her family. Bernice also loved gardening, farming, and spending time outdoors. She was a retired seamstress and truck driver.

She was preceded in death by husband, Elmer Shoupe; parents P L and Pearlie Mae (Eastridge) Hatmaker; brothers R L, Jerry, and Kenneth Lee Hatmaker.

She is survived by sons Joe and wife Jackie Shoupe of Duff, Dennis Shoupe of LaFollette; daughters Margaret and husband William Hamblin, April and husband Russell Jones both of LaFollette; brother Jess and wife Shirley Hatmaker of White Oak; sisters Janice Wilson, Mary and husband Arville Boshears both of LaFollette; grandchildren Jonathan and wife Amber Shoupe, Heather Hicks, Natasha and husband Tyler Sharp, Crystal Hamblin Black and husband Gordon; great grandchild Cheyenne.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 6-8 pm and the funeral service will follow at 8 pm in the Martin Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Woods officiating. Friends and family will meet at 10:15 am Friday, January 15, 2016 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for an 11 am interment at Gross Cemetery in LaFollette.
