Bessie Ellen Hatfield

Bessie Ellen Hatfield, age 81, of LaFollette has went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ her Savior on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was a member of High Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed puzzles, sweets, old TV shows, especially gospel, listening to gospel music, and she loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sandford and Mae Harris Bailey, husband Clifford Lee Hatfield, baby son, daughter Mary Grace Hatfield, great-grandson Samuel Lee Sharp, and several brothers & sisters.

She is survived by her sons Artie Lee Hatfield and wife Penny of Lenoir City and Dewayne Hatfield and wife Lisa of LaFollette, daughter Barbara Hurst and husband Eric of LaFollette, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces & nephews and a host of other relatives & friends.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will be on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev James Adkins officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Peabody Cemetery.
