Bethel Lee Walden

Bethel Walden age 78 of LaFollette passed away Friday, October 16, 2009. Mrs. Walden was a woman of faith who loved her family very much. She enjoyed gardening, canning, camping, going to church, playing the guitar, singing, and gospel songs. She will be sadly missed by her family.

Preceded in death by Husband: Walter Walden. Son: Jimmy Walden. Granddaughter: Shannon Parks. Grandsons: Robert Lee, Rodger, and Ton Ray. Mother: Emma Branam. Father: Fawler Lane. Sister: Bulaha Walden. Brother: Ullis Lane.

Survived by Sons: Mike, Carl, and Eugene Walden all of LaFollette. Daughters and Sons in Law: Patricia and Rev. Wade Walls of Duff. Vergie and Robert Walden, Lisa and Tim Overbay, Brenda and Rev. Eddie Bolton, Evetta and Cleveland Shoupes, Daughters: Marsha Walden, Patsy Robbins, Polly Shoupes all of LaFollette. Sandra Meadows of Jacksboro. 38 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1 PM Tuesday, October 20 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Mike Smith and Rev. Junior Dilbeck officiating. Interment will follow in Peabody Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Monday night in Martin Wilson Chapel.
