Betty Eileen Halcomb

Betty Eileen Halcomb, age 62, of Jacksboro passed away on Monday, July 29th, 2013. She was a member of Stanfield Church of God. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to read and listen to her music. She was a dedicated teacher with a love and concern for each one of her students.

She was preceded in death by her parents Adrian Jerome & Georgia (Landrum) Spitzer, husband Larry Halcomb, and sister April Halcomb.

She is survived by her daughters Stephanie Halcomb and Shanna Angel both of Jacksboro, Robert Angel of Jacksboro, sisters Rhonda Church & husband Jim of Michigan and Nancy James of LaFollette, and grandchildren Jared Kellogg, Alyssa Angel, & Robbie Angel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1st, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 2nd, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Stanfield Church of God with Rev. Delmus Bruce and Rev. Jerome McCullah officiating. Interment will follow the service at Davis Cemetery.
