Betty Lou Jones

Betty Lou Jones, age 81, of LaFollette passed away at her home on Friday, August 3, 2012. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, UT sports, reading, cooking, and spending time with her grandkids, great-grandkids, her family, and her cat that she loved very much.

Preceded in death by her parents Hugh & Oma Perkey, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Survived by her sons Bill Haggard and wife Ruth of Powell and Mike Haggard and wife Mary of McHenry, IL, daughter Margaret Ann Poore and husband Gary of New Tazewell, sisters Pasty Burcham of LaFollette and Charlene Melton of Kentucky, special nieces Jimmy Ann and Tammy, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be at 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 5th, 2012 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Alvis Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6-8 pm. Interment will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 6th, 2012 at Campbell Memorial Gardens.
