Betty Lou Robinson of LaFollette passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. She was born on May 17, 1932. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, constructing puzzles, and playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jack & Francis Wilson, husband Kyle Robinson, daughter Teresa Robinson, sisters Oneida Campbell, Novella Gerrish, and Verdie Ivey, and brothers O.D. & Albert Wilson, and sons-in-law Johnny Sweet and Hobert Miller.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth Rutherford from Caryville, James Robinson and wife Mildred of Lake City, Albert Robinson and wife Cheryl of LaFollette, and Billy Robinson of LaFollette, daughters Jacqy Adams and husband Mark of Jacksboro, Irene Goins and husband Tim of LaFollette, Denise Sweet of LaFollette, Lou Ann Bean and husband Joe of Lake City, sisters Mary Jane Willoughby and Mabel Wilson both of LaFollette, brother Danny Wilson of LaFollette, 23 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson chapel with Rev Ray Graham officiating. Interment will be on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Harness Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson chapel.
