Bill Lane Sullivan

Bill Lane Sullivan age 76 of Jacksboro, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on November 9, 1947, to the late Harold Sullivan and Edna (Whiles) Sullivan. Bill enjoyed target shooting, reloading shells, camping, watching westerns, playing sudoku and solitaire, and was also a cowboy and a practical jokester. Bill was a United States Navy Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter Jennifer McGowen and brother Don Sullivan.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Betty Parker Sullivan of Jacksboro; son Mike Morgan of Jacksboro; daughters Lisa McGowen of Jacksboro and Rhonda Leisten of Easley, SC; brother Jerry Sullivan of Kansas; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home (305 East Beech Street, LaFollette) with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Chaplin Thomas Rayford officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM on Saturday June 29, 2024, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Sweat-Goins Cemetery with Military Honors given by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
