Billy Gene Letner

Billy Gene Letner, age 77, of Jacksboro passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012. He was born on August 24, 1934. He enjoyed yard work, painting cars at Mt. Paran Road Body Shop, and taking care of his dogs, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his church family at Faith Way Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother William & Maggie Letner, daughter Donna George of Michigan, and brothers Roger, Edgar, Walter, Junior, & James Letner all of LaFollette.

He is survived by his wife Pauline Letner of Jacksboro, sister Beulah Hale of Knoxville, son Billy John Letner of Lenoir City, daughters Betty Sue Baird of Jacksboro and Panda Kay Nelson of Cumming, GA, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Faithway Assembly of God with Rev Steve Bruce officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012 in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
