Billy Marlow

Billy Marlow, age 92, of Jacksboro departed this life on Friday January 3, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was a loving husband for over 60 years, A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, he was their favorite Santa. Billy was a proud Army veteran who received 2 Bronze Stars during 2 tours in Korea, Retiring from GM after 30 years of service, he pursued his woodworking crafts as a master craftsman.  He was a deacon of Beech Grove Baptist Church where he attended for many years.

Preceded in death by wife Mary Lou Fields Marlow, parents Marion Marlow and Laura Tackett Marlow, sisters Maudie White, Annie Harness, Marlena Marlow, daughter-in-law Vivian Thomas Marlow.

Survived by sons Don Marlow and Sheilah of Jacksboro, Ron Marlow and Sandy of Ohio, brother Harrison Marlow of Jacksboro, sisters Elizabeth Fraley and Betty Huckaby, 7 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11:00 am -1:00 pm on Tuesday January 7, 2025 in chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Tommy Reese and Rev. Kenny Sharp officiating.  Interment will follow in Jacksboro Cemetery
