Billy Jack Wright

Billy Jack Wright age 86 of LaFollette, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, to the late Hillis Wright and Vestie Mullins. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed bird hunting, hunting, listening to bluegrass music, storytelling, telling jokes, playing several instruments, camping, being in the woods, going to thrift stores, motorcycles, and spending time with his loving family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his twin brothers Andy and Levi Belcher.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Linda Wright of LaFollette; daughters Melissa Jo Thorsby and husband Chuck of Prudenville, Michigan, and Michele Dumaine and Blaine of Greenville, TN; brother Junior Belcher and wife Ivonne of Greeneville, TN; sisters Linda Wicker of Lawrenceburg, Marie Owens of Lawrenceburg, Connie Bush and husband Charlie of Michigan, and Susan Belcher and husband Junior of Kentucky; grandchildren Kelly Conway, Derek Thorsby, Matthew Thorsby, Joshua Dumaine, David Dumaine, and Edith Maire; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with a celebration of life to follow at 4:00 PM with Rev. Tim Dupuy officiating.
