Bobbie Jean Day

Bobbie Jean Day, age 78, of LaFollette passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at LaFollette Medical Center. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, football, crossword puzzles, and going to drink coffee with his friends. He loved his family, whom he lived for.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Isaac & Rebecca Day, sisters Christina Day, Linda Butcher, Grace Hembree, and Opal Day, brother Sherman Day, sons James C. Day and David Goins, and multiple other family members.

He is survived by his loving wife Janice Day, brother Lee Day, sister Mary "Lena" Sweat, son Earl Day, daughters Joyce Householder & husband Scott, Gail Goins & fiancé Jody Hickman, and MaryAnn Jacobs & husband Jamie, step-daughters Catina Rogers & husband Cecil and Chasity Phillips & husband Brad, grandchildren Danielle Ridenour, Sarah Goins, Katie Goins, James Jacobs, Maria Jacobs, Tyler, Dylan, & Savannah, step-grandchildren Travis Frank Rogers, Wanda Lee Boone, Tessa Surber, Samantha Rogers, 3 great-granddaughters Laila, Kissta, & Natalie, and a host of step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 from 11:00 - 1:00 pm in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev Carl Wayne Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery with Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of the services. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Martin Wilson Funeral Home to help with expenses.
