Bonnie Louise Lane

Bonnie Louise Lane age 74 of Caryville passed away on Saturday March 29, 2014. Mrs. Lane was a member of Wood Lake Baptist Church, she was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she loved cooking for her family and friends and never met a stranger, her table was there for everyone to enjoy and was always blessed with plenty of food.

Preceded in death by husband Cleopas Lane, parents James T. and Welthia Marie Bowlin Hicks, brothers Billy, Don, Johnny and Jacks Hicks,

Survived by sons and Jim and Judy Lane of Caryville, Bobby Lane of Caryville, Darrell Lane and fiance Judy Padgett of Dawsonville, Ga, daughters Trish Lane of Caryville, Connie Lane and fiancé Paul Lawrence of Oak Ridge, Darlene Lane of Caryville, brothers Bob and Sue Hicks, Jim and Nancy Hicks all of Michigan, Carl Hicks of Caryville, Victor Hicks of Knoxville, Kenneth and Mary Hicks of LaFollette, 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, special long time friend JoAnn Parks of Caryville and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will received friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday March 31, 2014 in Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday April 1, 2014 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Ralph Shetterly and Rev. George Asbury officiating. Interment will follow in Mill Branch cemetery in Scott County.
