Carl Daugherty

Carl Daugherty, Jr., age 52, of Caryville passed away on Wednesday, August 13th, 2014. He was co-owner of HD Construction, enjoyed riding his Harley, the outdoors, working, and loved spending time with his family & friends, especially his grandchildren. Carl was a friend to all who met him.

He is survived by his father Carl Daugherty, Sr. of Caryville; mother Mazella Vowell & husband Edgar of Lake City; fiancé Missy Mondoni of Caryville; sons Dustin Daugherty & wife Jackie and Justin Bolton & wife Jessica all of Caryville; daughter Renee Murray & husband Dewayne of Caryville; brother Danny Daugherty of Caryville; step-brothers Tim, Randy, & Gary Williams; step-sister Tammy Hick; sisters Bertha Hatmaker & husband Eddie of Caryville, Sherry Wilson & husband James of Briceville, Cindy Hicks & husband Dan of Vasper, and Carlene Woodson of Caryville; 4 grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 17th, 2014 in the Martin Wilson chapel. Funeral service will be on Monday, August 18th, 2014 at Little Cove Creek Baptist Church with interment to follow at Raines Grove Cemetery.
