Carl Edward Marlow

Carl Edward Marlow age 88 of LaFollette departed this life on September 2, 2026 at Baptist Health in Pensacola, Florida. He was born February 12, 1938 in Lick Creek to the late John Henry and Dorothy Wright Marlow. Carl was a member of the Lick Creek Holiness Church. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sara Huddleston Marlow; his daughter Tammy Moore; his grandson, Phillip Graves; his brothers, Eugene, Marce, Joe, Jerry and Ronnie Marlow; his sisters, Jewel Ray, Judy Marlow and Eva Sue Marlow. 

Carl is survived by his son Tommy Marlow of Kentucky; his daughters Teri Metcalf of Florida, Kimberly Phillips of Tennessee, and Tracy Graves of Kentucky; his brothers John, Rudy and Michael Marlow; and his sister Judeena Marlow; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a celebration of life service to follow at 12:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to wear Tennessee Orange to honor the Vols #1 fan. 

In lieu of flowers, the family ask for memorial contributions to be made to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
