Carol Ann (Moelling) Wilson

Carol Ann Wilson, age 82 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the LaFollette Medical Center. She was born December 19, 1935 in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Henry "Hank" Moelling and Anna Pauline Shoemaker Moelling. Carol was a member of Cumberland View Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing golf, ping pong, attending University of Tennessee Football games, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carol was the former owner of Midway Florist and was a very loving and caring person. Claude and Carol were presidents of LaFollette Little League when they won the state championship in 1965. She also organized a women's softball league during that same time. Carol was a licensed funeral director and sold pre-need insurance for Martin Wilson Funeral Home for many years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sons, Steve and Kelly Wilson; sisters, Deloris Drach and Rose Moelling; and very special friend, Willene Bullock.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Claude Wilson of LaFollette; son, Danny Wilson of Jacksboro; daughter in law, Marsha Wilson of LaFollette; grandchildren, Adam Wilson, Curtis Wilson and wife, Brandy, April Castro and husband, Daniel, Brian Wilson and wife, Crystal, Andy Wilson and wife, Ashley, and Christian Halcomb and husband, Kevin; great grandchildren, Mason, Thomas, Jenna, Liam, Knox, Addison, Amelia, Turner, Colby, and Gracie Lynn; special niece, Rhonda Wilson and host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Carol will be Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with her funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson and Rev. Hobert McCreary officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Willoughby Cemetery in Jacksboro for 11:00 AM interment.
