Cecelia Sue Marlow

Cecelia Sue Marlow, age 82 of Jacksboro, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at her home. She was born on December 17, 1942, to the late William Rookard and Nila Morris. Sue loved to go to church and read her Bible, she also enjoyed gardening, working with her flowers, singing, her dogs, and taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Marlow; son Roger Dale Marlow; brothers Wayne and Bill Rookard; grandson Eli Ayers.

Sue is survived by her sons Jeff Marlow and Boyd Marlow; daughters Lisa Hale and Leslie Richardson; brother Eddison Rookard; sisters Shirley Johnson, Lena Teague, and Karla Prewitt; grandchildren Savannah Berry, Katie Morris, Greg Marlow, Roger Dale Marlow, Robert Marlow, Jessica Marlow, Jeremy Marlow, William Bailey Marlow, Christopher Leavitt, Kevin Leavitt, Hannah White, Ashley Green, and Emma Ayers; several great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, March 7, 2025, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Ray Woods officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Saturday, March 8, 2025, to go in funeral procession to Well Springs Cemetery for an 11:00 AM internment.
