Cecil Phillips

Cecil Phillips, age 7l, of Caryville passed away on Friday August 17, 2012. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Phillips was a very loving husband of 51 years, a father, grandfather and great grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he loved to fish and spend time outdoors.

He was preceded in death by Parents; Abe and Lillian Croley Phillips. Infant son Eddie Phillips. Brothers: Arlie, Lester and Gordan Phillips.

Survived by Wife: Mable Phillips of Caryville. Son: Ronald Phillips of Caryville. Daughters; Teresa Lucas and husband William of Caryville, Jeanette Phillips and Tina Hickey both of Jacksboro and Carrie Phillips and fiancé Chuck Carroll of Knoxville. Brothers: Houston Phillips and wife Cleda, Bo Phillps and wife Crystal of KY. Sisters: Lorene McGhee and husband Aubrey of Manchester, TN, Trudy Phillips of Knoxville, Denia Phillips and husband Don, Inez Carson and husband Bob, Glenna Jennings and husband Kyle all of Clinton. Grandchildren: Carla, Andrea, Anthony and wife Brooke Lucas, Rex II, Bryce and wife Kara Hickey, Savannah and Jacob Mynatt. Great grandchildren: Alexa Ivey and Aiden Hickey.

Funeral service will be 7 PM Monday August 20, 2012 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Bro. Dowell Phillips & Rev Thomas Adkins officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM before the funeral service. Interment will be 10 AM Tuesday August 21, 2012 in the Powell Valley Cemetery.
