Charlene Gross

Charlene Gross, age 73, of Caryville passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013. She was of the Baptist Faith. She loved fishing, camping, playing horse shoes, watching UT Football, making quilts, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Perry Gross, Sr.; mother and step-father Edith & Leonard Silcox; infant son Wayne Gross; and sisters Mary Lee Moore and Bobbie Gunter.

She is survived by her daughters Barbara Mefford & husband Ray, Lavinna Lowe & husband Frank of LaFollette, and Leola Carroll & husband Ron of Caryville; son Perry Gross & wife Janet of Caryville; sisters Albany Friar of Harrogate and Ona Lee & Carl Tinnel of MI; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and a host of friends and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Hubert Marlow & Rev. Christopher Wallen officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday, July 24th, 2013 at 10:00 am at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
