Charles Curtis Bridges

Charles Curtis Bridges age 77 of Pioneer passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell Co. He was a member of Lick Fork Baptist Church. Mr. Bridges enjoyed fishing, gardening, going to church, singing, and playing the guitar. He loved his family very much.

Preceded in death by Beloved Daughter: Brigitte Bridges Boshears. Parents: Dennie and Bertha Mae Bridges. Brothers: Ike, Everett, Odom, David, Lindon, and Kenneth Bridges. Sisters: Julie and Zona Norman.

Survived by Devoted and Loving Wife of 49 years: Priscilla Bridges of Pioneer. Son: Joel Brown and Wife: Debbie of Evensville, TN. Daughter: Kimberly Bridges of Knoxville and Fiance: Robert Cooper. Grandchild: Jamie Witt and Great Grandson: Cody Witt. Brother: Ray Bridges and Wife: Bobbie of Fort Myer, FL. Sisters: Elma Botts of Louisville, KY, Flora Ivey of Elk Valley. Nora Terry and Husband: Raymond of Elk Valley. Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of Relatives and Friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Tuesday, November 23 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jason Ivey and Rev. Shawn Ivey officiating. Interment will be 1 PM Wednesday in Valley View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday night before funeral service.
