Charles Mitchell Loyd

Charles Mitchell Loyd, age 65 of Decatur, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was born on August 25, 1955 to the late Amos Mountie Loyd and Ella Mae (Muse) Loyd. He was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church. Charles loved to watch movies, go shopping, eating, and taking road trips.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Rev. Jimmy Loyd and special niece Deborah Kidd.

He is survived by his brothers Daniel Loyd and wife Donna and Monty Loyd and wife Rhonda; sisters Shella Hunley and husband Roger, Brenda Crabtree and husband Maynard, and Patsy Barnes and husband Denzil; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:30 AM on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. The family will have a graveside service following the visitation at 11:45 AM at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Chambers officiating.
