Charles Daniel Sampson

Charles Daniel Sampson, age 71 of LaFollette passed away on Sunday April 7, 2013. He attended the Lighthouse Church of God in Caryville. He was a very loving husband of 46 years, loving father and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family, playing guitar and was a avid reader of all kinds of books. A member of MENSA, Senior Deacon of the Jacksboro Masonic Lodge #322, was in the Army company D 19th Battalion 5th Infantry Airborne Division.

He was preceded in death by Parents: Stanley T. Sampson and Velma B. Hoilman.

He is survived by Wife: Georgia M. Sampson. LaFollette. Daughter: Lynn M. Daugherty of LaFollette. Brother: James Sampson and wife Darlene of PA. Sisters: Marty Justice and Mary Bautista both of DE. Grandsons: Bobby R. Russell II and Michael C. Russell.
A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 9, 2013 from 6-7 PM in Martin Wilson Chapel. Memorial service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Mike Smith officiating.
