Charles O. Wilson

Charles O. Wilson age 83, of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 29, 2015. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Wilson was a loving husband of 64 years, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed going to church, the church was his life. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son Charles Perry Wilson, parents John & Betsy (Lindsay) Wilson, brothers Luke, Clyde and Ernest Wilson and sisters Pauline Hatmaker, Reba Richmond and Daisy Brassfield.

He is survived by his wife Eleanor Wilson of LaFollette, son Terry L. Wilson of Jacksboro, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bill Wilson and Lance Wilson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Campbell Memorial Gardens.
